Limited Edition Giclée fine art print on Hahnemühle German Etching museum quality archival paper. From the Buddhist influenced collection "La Unión del Sol y La Luna".
The Vajra is a legendary and ritualistic tool, symbolizing the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force). It is also described as a "ritual weapon". The use of the bell and vajra together as symbolic and ritual tools is found in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
In Buddhism, dharma refers to the Tetchings of the Buddha and to the true nature of reality (which the teachings point to). In Buddhist philosophy, dharms is also the term for specific "phenomena" and for the ultimate truth.
The combination of "vajra" and "dharma" signifies the union of the indestructible nature of reality with the Buddha's teachings and spiritual power.
